The weekend that had just passed was nothing but fun.
Like truckloads of fun.
And here's a quick summary of what happened on Friday.
I'll cover Saturday in the next post.
And how lazy my Sunday went while recuperating. Lol
So, Friday had me going all happy and gleeful at Universal Studios Singapore again; when the sole purpose was to bring my niece for her very first trip as her dad had tickets.
And in the end? I think I had more fun than the little one did!
So, here's us waiting for the little one to appear and start our day at the park.
And can I just say how much LOVE for these 2? Always coming to my rescue when I needed it.
And here's one with the little imp
It would have been better and nicer if my sis (who happens to be my niece's mum. lol) could be there with us.
And I swear to TiGong that the next time round when I head over to USS, I'm going to get that Express ticket.
Exchanging money for time is so much more precious.
Just imagine the lethargy from queuing and waiting.
Started our day in Far Far Away zone and the first thing she said was "I want to take roller coaster". Sure~ so our first stop? Enchanted Airways!
And this little girl did quite well though. Most of the time she's just queuing patiently waiting for our turns to the rides.
She was too stunned by the acceleration of the roller coaster; she was stone faced throughout the ride and only came back to her senses when her feet touched the ground again.
Guess she didn't know what was coming when she's right outside this gate.
Also, perhaps it was due to the school holiday week, the park was PACKED with humans and everywhere was crowded.
I must say that we were lucky when we decided to beat the lunch crowd and head for food straight before going into the lines for rides.
And en route to the cafe, I managed to snap a picture with my favourite Sesame Street character! The one in blue of course. HAHA.
We went for the Sesame Street Spaghetti Space Chase after and everyone can agree that we were really glad that the ride was air conditioned. LOL
Moved on to Madagascar zone and and I think she really enjoyed being on the King Julian's Beach Party-Go-Round with her jiu jiu (or in English term, Uncle).
We managed to catch the gang doing their farewell parade and can I just say King Julian is too adorable and that I'm going to miss the Madagascar section in USS alot?
I was literally dancing along with them when they did their thing for the farewell parade.
And my niece went on singing "i like to move it move it" throughout our day in the park.
This is the best shot that I could have gotten for the gang. Really gonna miss this bunch.
The Madagascar ride will be opened till 27 March, 2022. So be sure to catch them before they set sail to the next destination again!
Did a pit stop at Ancient Egypt zone for some hydration and because the weather was too hot, we seek refuge right next to a tall mummy. LOL
Then, we ventured onto Jurassic World and I think my niece almost doze off while we were at the queue for Dino-Soarin.
She insisted that I carry her in the scorching weather and just laid on my chest to rest.
But she was wide awake when it was finally our time to be on it.
And while we were heading out of the park, my niece asked for an unexpected ride; Accelerator.
It got all the adults stunned because it was the revolving chairs at the Sci-Fi city.
In case you are wondering what exactly it is, here's how it look like:
We were so worried that she's going to come up spinning but that little woman proved herself well!
Ended off the day with dinner and she was hugging her minion popcorn that I got her, munching happily away.
That was the day where beautiful memories were made. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
And come to think of it, it was actually my 3rd day into my period when we went to the park.
Usually, in the past, I would be so lethargic that I don't have the energy to be moving about.
I would curl up in my seat if I'm in the office. Otherwise, I will be bed ridden for the day and have no strength for food or any other kind of activities except to head to the bathroom.
And all these changed when i started on ketones and it helped with regulating my hormones.
I never knew most of the problems that I had in my body was due to my hormones not regulating.
I mean, yes of course, I know irregular period cycle was a sign that there's something wrong with my body.
But it never occurred to me that it was due to the different types of hormones in my body.
And this... will be another story for another day.
I'm just glad that I wasn't bothered by my period and could be fully present with my niece the entire time.
I would definitely want to bring her again the next time when she grow a little taller. HAHA
With the express tickets so that she can experience all the rides that she want, without having to deal with the lethargy while waiting <3
